In many parts of the country including North India, people seem to be getting relief soon from the heat. In its latest update by the Meteorological Department, the report of the coming days has been given, in which it has been said that heavy rain. It was reported that the Monsoon Trough is lying to the south of its normal position. According to IMD, it is likely to remain south of normalcy during the next 4-5 days. A True Low Pressure Area is persisting over Southeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining parts of North Vidarbha with its associated cyclonic circulation. The Low Pressure Area and its remnants are very likely to move west-northwestwards during the next 4-5 days.
Due to these weather systems, IMD has forecast widespread to widespread rainfall with heavy to very heavy rainfall over Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, Gujarat state from September 8 to 11. Very heavy rain may occur at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan. Today, while similar situation will prevail in Gujarat, which is likely to remain till tomorrow i.e. 9th September.
At the same time, IMD has issued a red alert in Gujarat, Saurashtra, Konkan and Goa for today. Parts of Northwest India are very likely to receive widespread to widespread rainfall till September 11. Very heavy rainfall is possible over Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh during this period. IMD has issued Orange Alert in Uttarakhand and Punjab for today. It was told that a low pressure system will form in the interior of the Bay of Bengal on Saturday and it will move towards the northwest. However, it should be noted that the areas with heavy rainfall are inland rather than coastal.
Significantly above normal day and night temperatures have been noted over most parts of the Western Himalayan region, South Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh until at least the end of September.

Very heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over Punjab, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and East Rajasthan.
