The main reason for postponing the trip-
The visit has been postponed due to increased attacks by Taliban militants in Afghanistan. Fighting escalated in various areas of Afghanistan as Afghan forces attempted to retake the districts and major centers occupied by the Taliban. Also, a few days ago, the US had also tried to stop the Taliban by airstrikes.
India is playing an important role in training 300 Afghan soldiers and is also helping in the medical treatment of injured Afghan military personnel. In fact, civil war started in Afghanistan after the US Army left Afghanistan. Taliban militants have recaptured more than half of Afghanistan.
