India’s fight against the corona pandemic is getting stronger. The coverage of vaccination is increasing every month. The Center has provided more than 52 crore corona vaccine doses to the states so far. The Health Ministry said that 52.37 crore doses have been provided by the Center to the states and union territories so far. Soon they will get 8,99,260 lakh more doses. The ministry also informed that more than 2.42 crore doses are still left with the states, union territories and private hospitals. According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 50.68 crore doses of anti-corona vaccine have been administered so far. 50.91 lakh doses were given during the last 24 hours.
The ministry said that as of 8 am on Saturday, the total consumption of corona vaccine in the country, including wastage, is 50,32,77,942 doses. More than 2.41 crore (2,42,87,160) remaining and untapped COVID-19 vaccine doses are still available with states and UTs and private hospitals, to be administered. The ministry said that the central government is committed to accelerate the pace and expand the scope of COVID-19 vaccination across the country.

Immunization drive has been accelerated through better planning and streamlining of vaccine supply through availability of more vaccines, advance visibility of vaccine availability for States and UTs.
According to news agency Pretr, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had told that on an average 43.41 lakh doses are being administered daily in the country and a total of 13.45 crore doses were administered in July alone. Mandaviya tweeted that India is moving fast on the path of ‘Vaccine Free Vaccine for All’.
