China’s big statement about Taliban, said…

People all over the world are hurt to see what is being done by Taliban in Afghanistan. Kabul was captured by the Taliban on Sunday and then Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has also left the country and moved to Tajikistan. After this there is an atmosphere of fear and people living in Afghan are making every effort to leave Kabul. Fearing Taliban, people have gathered at Kabul airport. A big statement has come out from China amid the atrocities being committed by the Taliban in the country. China says it wants “friendly relations” with the Taliban.

China said on Monday that it was ready to develop “friendly relations” with the Taliban. Let us tell you that after the control of Afghanistan by Islamic fundamentalists, there may be trouble for China, so it cannot be ruled out that there should be no trick of China even behind this friendship.

“China respects the right of the Afghan people to be able to make their own decisions independently and wants to continue to develop friendly and cooperative relations with Afghanistan,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told reporters. China shares a rough 76-kilometre (47-mile) border with Afghanistan.

However, a top-level Taliban delegation met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Tianjin last month, promising that Afghanistan would not be used as a base for terrorists. In return, China offered economic aid and investment to rebuild Afghanistan.

Xinjiang shares a narrow border with Afghanistan and Beijing is concerned over the fear of spreading violence along its border. China feels that if the Taliban takes control of Afghanistan, then the stir in the regions in China will intensify. In Xinjiang, China has detained more than one million Uighurs and members of other Muslim minorities in a military crackdown on terrorism and extremism.
