Became Prime Minister of India thrice
In the year 1996, Atal Bihari Vajpayee had resigned from the post of Prime Minister in just 13 days. However, he was re-elected to the post of Prime Minister in 1998. Then for the third time he was the Prime Minister of India from 1999 to 2004. Then he completed his five-year term. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was elected to the Lok Sabha from Lucknow in 1991, 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2004.
