PM Modi’s message on Guru Purnima – Where there is knowledge, there is perfection

Greeting the countrymen on the occasion of Guru Purnima on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it was on this day that Lord Buddha gave his first knowledge to the world after attaining enlightenment. We have been told here that where there is knowledge, there is perfection. When the preacher is the Buddha himself, it is natural that knowledge becomes synonymous with the welfare of the world.

The PM said that Lord Buddha had told us the formula of whole life in Sarnath. He told about sorrow, told about the cause of sorrow, assured that sorrow can be conquered and also told the way to this victory. He said that today there is a crisis in front of humanity in the form of corona epidemic, then Buddha becomes more relevant for us. How can we face the biggest challenge by following the path of Buddha, India has shown this. Today the countries of the world are also holding each other’s hand regarding the right thoughts of Buddha.

The Prime Minister said that today the countries of the world are also holding each other’s hand due to the right thoughts of Buddha, they are becoming each other’s strength. When a Buddha, who is stunned by renunciation and Titikksha, speaks, not only does the word come out, but the wheel of Dhamma is triggered. So, then he only preached to five disciples, but today there are followers of those words all over the world, people who believe in Buddha.

PM Modi gave information about the Ashtanga Sutras for life given by Lord Buddha.
