Schools have opened in many states of the country including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh from today. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has asked the states to vaccinate all school teachers across the country on priority basis before September 5 i.e. National Teachers’ Day. Corona cases continue to decline in the country and the vaccination campaign is also gaining momentum. Meanwhile, schools in many states of the country are starting off-line classes with the Kovid safety protocol from today. After a significant improvement in the situation in the national capital Delhi, the Delhi government on Friday announced that schools, colleges and coaching institutes for classes 9 to 12 would reopen from September 1. The guidelines announced by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) for reopening of schools and colleges from September 1 have allowed only 50 per cent students per class. During this, mandatory thermal screening and optional seating arrangements have been included regarding the corona protocol.
Schools opening from class 1 to 5 in Uttar Pradesh
Schools from class I to V are opening in Uttar Pradesh from today. In the meeting of Team-09, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions to take full care of the Kovid protocol in schools. He said that the work of cleanliness, sanitization should be done every day. Along with education, full attention should also be paid to the safety of the children. It is to be known that in Uttar Pradesh, schools were opened for children from class 9th to 12th on August 16 only. Instructions were given to open schools from class 6 to class 8 from August 24.
Madhya Pradesh Schools
The Madhya Pradesh government will reopen schools for classes 6 to 12 with 50 percent capacity from September 1. State Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said a decision on resuming classes for students from classes 1 to 8 would be taken later. Only online classes will be conducted for them.

The Rajasthan government has also announced the reopening of schools for classes 9 to 12 from September 1. In order to maintain the corona protocol, only 50 percent students have been allowed to attend classes in each session.
Haryana government has decided to reopen primary schools for classes 4 and 5 from September 1. Students will be allowed to come to the school with the prior written permission of their parents.

Classes, colleges and polytechnics will reopen for classes 9 to 12 in Tamil Nadu from today. Chief Minister MK Stalin had announced this on Monday. As per the new rules of the state government, college and school students (classes 9 to 12) can travel free of cost (without bus pass) to their institutions in Tamil Nadu in Transport Corporation buses from September 1.

The state government has directed reopening of classes in all educational institutions including schools, colleges and coaching centers from September 1. Schools will reopen today for all classes.

The state government is all set to resume classes in schools from class 10th to 12th from September 1.
Schools in Puducherry will resume from September 1 with 50 per cent capacity for classes 9 to 12. Here classes will be conducted in two shifts in the schools alternately morning and evening.
