Taliban got a befitting reply to attack on Panjshir, seven terrorists killed, many injured

US President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that the United States will continue to help the Afghan people through diplomatic channels. Joe Biden said this while addressing the Americans at the end of the 20-year-long military campaign in Afghanistan. The Taliban have captured Kabul airport as soon as America leaves the country. Simultaneously, Taliban leaders are working on government formation.

In his address, Biden said, “We will continue to support the Afghan people through diplomacy, international influence and humanitarian assistance.” We will continue to raise our voice for the basic rights of the Afghan people, especially women and girls.

The US President also said that this war should have ended long ago. I was against sending another generation of young men and women to fight this war. He said that 8 lakh Americans served in Afghanistan. Of this, 20,744 American soldiers were injured and 2,461 American personnel lost their lives. After so much loss, I did not want to carry on the war. He said it was time to be honest again with the American people.

He said that we as a nation were in war for a very long time. If you are 20 today you never know that America is a peace loving country. So when I heard that we should continue with our modest efforts putting our personnel at risk in Afghanistan, I don’t think most people would understand how much we asked for the one percent of the uniformed people of this country who are in our country. They are ready to put their lives on the line to protect them.
