Vaccination campaign against corona is being conducted rapidly in the country. The central government is providing a large number of vaccines to the states. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday said that more than 45.73 crore (45,73,30,110) doses of anti-coronavirus vaccine have been provided to the states and union territories through all sources so far. More than 24 lakh (24, 11,000) vaccine doses are currently in the pipeline to be given to the states and union territories. The ministry further said that more than 2.28 crore doses of the vaccine are currently available with the states and union territories and private hospitals.
According to the Ministry of Health, 66,03,112 anti-corona vaccines have been administered in the country in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of vaccinations in the country to 44,19,12,395.
Vaccine supply chain being streamlined: Center
The ministry said that the vaccine is being made available by the central government to the states and union territories, so that the vaccination campaign can be further accelerated and the vaccine supply chain can be streamlined. The Government of India is providing free corona vaccines to the states and union territories as part of the nationwide vaccination campaign.
The total number of active cases of corona in the country is below four lakh
According to the Union Health Ministry, 29,689 new corona cases and 415 new deaths have been reported in India within the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 42,363 people have been cured of corona disease. The total number of people who have been cured of corona disease has gone up to 3,06,21,469. The total number of active cases of corona in the country is 3,98,100. So far, the total number of corona cases in the country has gone up to 3,14,40,951. The total number of people who died due to corona epidemic in the country has increased to 4,21,382.
